Not far out of Auckland lies the most beautiful rural wedding venue for intimate weddings or elopements. It has all the beautiful rustic barn vibes a girl could dream about! Boutique Barn in Puhoi is a hidden gem that not many know about. Julia stumbled across this venue while searching for a spot to elope. They fell so in love with the venue they decided to have an intimate wedding instead. They invited James' close family and had every detail of their day captured to share with Julia's family back in Germany - who were unable to make it due to closed borders.
It was the perfect winter's day, Julia got ready in the honeymoon suite at the venue, while James got ready just down the road in an air bnb. They opted not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen but did have two dear friends with them while getting ready. Their wedding ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt. Julia included her family up front at the ceremony and at their reception through photos. This is such a beautiful gesture for anyone who's families can't attend their weddings!
James and Julia got their photos taken both around the barn but also up the hill with the most gorgeous view! They had some drone shots taken, and when the sun peaked out for a hot minute a few golden hour pics were captured too! Such a special day for Julia and James! Go take a loookkkk!!!
